Independently creating music from his home studio, COUPEN intertwines dark and moody atmospheres with rhythmic beats and textures drawn from Hip-Hop and R&B.

Hailing from Columbia, SC, USA, the 25-year-old artist embarked on his artistic journey at an early age, crafting lyrics and exploring music production. His debut EP, "1102," in 2018 marked the start of his evolution, which continued with projects like "before you speak," in 2022 and the introspective think other mixtape trilogy: "think other," "think other two," and "think other three,” all released within a single year from 2023 to 2024.

To close off 2024, COUPEN released “prnd,” a concept EP that marked a significant milestone in his career, his first time working with other artists. Serving as a metaphor for stages of love, the EP blended voices and ideas in a way that showcased COUPEN’s growth, both as a solo artist and a collaborator, pushing his sound into new directions.
